South Pacific Supplies was established in 1993 by Director Tony Talbot
in partnership with his wife Celia Talbot. South Pacific Supplies
started out as an engineering supply company run from the Talbot
family's back shed. Tony ran the sales side of the business while Celia took
on the huge job of accounts.
Over the next seven years with putting in many long / hard hours of
work they were able to build up & manage a healthy little family owned
business.
In 2000 South Pacific Supplies Ltd was very lucky to acquire the Sole
NZ Agency for 'Aervoe Industries' America. This enabled South Pacific
Supplies to tap into a whole new market with tones of potential. So now
along with engineering supply Tony also had to get out and about
promoting 'Crown' and 'Aervoe' products. Tony was able to manage this on his
own for around four years but in the end it became too big and too much
work
for him to handle by himself.
South Pacific Supplies Ltd was growing at such a great rate that it
soon became impossible to operate out of the tiny storage area they had
in Papatoetoe. At the end of 2004 South Pacific Supplies Ltd Invested in
a 2000sq Ft warehouse in Ash road in Wiri, Manukau City.
In 2005 Tony and Celia's son Brendan Talbot jumped on the band wagon
which helped in easing the pressure. This meant that between them they
were able to successfully expand the business to an even greater level.
The future for South Pacific Supplies Ltd looks good. We continue to
work hard in growing the business and to further build up and maintain the 'Aervoe' & 'Crown' Brand names here on the New Zealand
